My Story.

Xenzara was created to bring together my love of art and animals. It has taken me a while to realise that the best place for me to work is immersed in my passions.

One of my favourite gifts as a child was a huge art set. A big wooden case that unlocked and opened up to reveal all sorts of pens and crayons, paints and chalks. My sister and I would draw for hours. It was before ipads and snapchat were kids main entertainment and I am so grateful for that.

Throughout school I used my creative side to push me through all subjects. If I could make it a bit arty, I enjoyed it that bit more. That seems so long ago now! It’s taken me years to work out what I want to do.

I studied photography and then styling and thought about being a make up artist but somehow ended up working with kids at a nursery. At least there was still arts and crafts but singing about rabbits and playing afternoon tea daily wasn’t quite the creative release I was looking for. I took a few courses here and there, trying to find my ‘thing’.
