It’s going to be a tough year for many, but the generosity on display here will get things off to a better start. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our work.

Macknade raised a brilliant £2,370 towards our work. They donated £5 for every purchase from their online Christmas shop. That’s enough to cover the rent deposit on nearly five flats. Thank you to the Macknade team and their customers!

Berry & Lamberts Solicitors organised a Christmas jumper day, ran a raffle at the Sevenoaks Christmas lights switch-on and donated instead of sending Christmas cards. They raised more than £1,150 – the cost of staffing 230 calls to our helpline.

We had generous Christmas donations from Sound Credit TV and Fire and Acoustic Supplies. They each gave £1,000 – enough to pay for nearly 50 hours of street outreach work.

Action Carpets and Flooring Ltd very kindly gave us £800 – enough to cover 35 support sessions to help someone keep their home. Knight Optical donated £500 – enough to buy 50 festive food parcels for people who would struggle to feed themselves.

A Christmas jumper day at MC Rental was a massive success, raising £420. That could cover 8 support calls to people who have nowhere else to turn and are relying on us as a lifeline.

Yoga instructor Cora Kembell-Cook (Canterbury Yoga) held virtual winter solstice yoga session, raising £320. That could pay for 15 hours of street outreach work. Thank you to Cora and all who took part!

The brilliant Nailbourne Scout Group - public have a long tradition of supporting us. They sold Christmas cards and raised an excellent £70. Thank you so much!

We were able to help struggling households in the Bexley area thanks to generous donations from Bluewater and Morrisons. They supplied items which our staff gave out to families in need. We really appreciate their support.
