Someone asked me what my favourite photo of July was — quickly followed by, “And which was the most successful?”
Success, of course, depends on how you measure it...
So, most "successful"?
That might go to the image I captured during the State Visit of the President of France, President Macron, to Westminster Abbey.
It reached over 2,000 likes within 24 hours on social media... sadly not on my SM, but on Westminster Abbey’s SM — where it rightfully belongs.

Favourite studio portrait?
The image of a lady who wanted to update her business portrait and was celebrating a milestone birthday at the same time.
She asked me not to say which birthday — and I always keep a promise.

Most meaningful personally?
A moment I’m truly proud of: four generations of males, all with the same surname, and all in one magical moment. Dare I say I am one of them.
Thank you Caroline for capturing something I’ll treasure forever.

🌈✨ A colourful little visitor popped into the studio today...

Explored every corner, admired the setup, and even tried (unsuccessfully!) to wake our tiniest model on display mounted and framed.
Bright, beautiful, and full of curiosity — didn’t book a session, but certainly brightened our day!

🌸 A Lovely Surprise at the Studio 🌸

While our photographer was busy in the studio, a customer popped in and was looked after by the one team member here who doesn’t use a camera. She listened, helped as requested, and the gentleman made his purchase and left — simple, right?

30 minutes later, in walked Lisa from Lisa’s Florist (our lovely neighbour on Wickham Road) holding a beautiful bouquet. “These are for the lady who helped the gentleman earlier,” she said.

Turns out — he was genuinely touched by the service he received.

The team member was completely taken aback. “I was just doing what I was asked,” she said — and she meant it. The flowers were worth far more than what he’d spent.

Whoever you are, thank you. Your kindness and generosity left her speechless and smiling — a reminder that small gestures go a long way.

In our eyes, she did what we all strive to do — serve with care and a smile. And clearly, that made a lasting impression. 💐😊
