I’m putting up my first free download in the next few days, but I wish it was based on a more positive situation. I’m not the best with words so forgive me if this doesn’t come across right.
It isn’t the most well produced song I’ve made, nor the best mixed. It’s about the message we are all trying to send at the moment. I channeled a lot of anger into the track, it may just be a normal dnb tune, but I’m hoping it can relieve some of the anger your feeling, or at least show it in your sets or listen to it so that you show your support. This song is for Floyd, and standing against everything that’s happening right now, I’m just showing it in the easiest way I know how. You’ll find it on my soundcloud soon.
At this point now more than ever we need to stand against these people who seek to tear everything down, seek to tear down our communities and the people within them. No matter who you are as a person you deserve the same respect, love and affection that everyone does.
I will never understand the challenges faced with having a non-white skin colour, but it doesn’t mean I’m going to be complicit in the racism and murders the establishments seeks to normalise, I find all that s**t disgusting.
I wish that the violence in America right now could be avoided but sadly I feel that this is the reaction of people that are sick of their current situation, and I can’t blame them for it. I just hope that the people can come together to fight the real enemy in a positive way, but this doesn’t work.
We all saw the pain George Floyd went through in this last moments. No one should have to go through that, no one deserves it, let’s make sure we make a change so this doesn’t keep on happening.
This isn’t about money.
This isn’t about the scene.
This isn’t about pride.
This isn’t about reputation.
This is about right and wrong and standing up for what you believe in.
This isn’t for the Promoters
This isn’t for the DJs or Producers.
This is for Floyd.
WE ARE LEGION.
EXPECT US.
