What channels should your company be on?

Not every business needs to be everywhere. It really depends on your industry and who you want to reach:

šŸ›ļø Retail / e‑commerce: Instagram and TikTok are great for showing off products.
āš™ļø Local services / community businesses: Facebook still works really well, especially local groups.

Ever wonder when you should post, not just what you post?

I’ve pulled together some fresh data for 2025/26 on the best posting times and how often to post across the major platforms. These aren’t strict rules - think of them more like ā€œsweet spots.ā€

Experiment with it. Test what works for your audience. But if you start posting when people are most likely to scroll, you’ll usually see more reach, more engagement, and less of that ā€œposting and hoping.ā€

And don’t forget to check your insights. The native tools on each platform tell you so much about what’s working and when.

I see it all the time - feeds so polished they feel corporate and…well, I'm not going to lie, boring! Showing the human side on your pages doesn’t mean throwing planning out the window.

Behind-the-scenes posts, quick tips, or casual updates make your brand relatable, and they can still fit into a planned feed. The trick is to make it look ad hoc, but actually, it’s all part of the plan - and it’s so easy to do.
