This All Ireland is special because after 3 years of begging, borrowing and lending boats we took a wee detour to Bandon to collect our gorgeous new boat Lurigéadan.

It is your fundraising, our hugely generous supporters and the Kingsbridge Foundation who helped us secure this beauty.

We choose the interior sapphire blue to support a partially sighted members needs.

She was present at the blessing of the boats ceremony and she's been in two races already.

This vessel "Lurigeadan" is beautiful very much like our rowing community and supporters.

Bantry day one has been a blast we had 2 races and our new boat has been blessed and christened. Now we are through from todays Mixed Masters heat to a final tomorrow at 9am in which Ciaran is also rowing with our friends from Castle Rowing Club this is great progress for our wee club.
The way we have pulled together to get here and the friendship and community spirit of all our Antrim Coast Rowing Association teams is a real joy to be a part of.
Looking forward to Day2
