Canva AI doesn’t need to be complicated.
You don’t have to use every feature or get it right first time. Even using it for one small thing, like an image idea or a starting point, is more than enough.
AI is there to support your ideas, not replace them.

Canva AI can also be really useful for creating lifestyle-style images with people, especially if you don’t want to use stock photos.
I like using them for calm, professional visuals that work well as post backgrounds or carousel images.
As always, they’re a starting point. You can tweak them, crop them, or layer text on top to suit your brand.

One small Canva tip for January.
If your design feels cluttered, try removing one element before adding anything new.
Fewer fonts, fewer colours, and a bit more space can make a big difference. Simple designs are often the ones that work best.

A new chapter doesn’t have to start loudly.
Sometimes it begins quietly, with a blank page, a cuppa, and a little intention for the days ahead.

Hi, I'm Nikki, a Virtual Assistant and business owner of Willow Admin based in Essex.
I help small business owners get to grips with organising their social media content.
By setting up a content library in Trello, they spend less time looking for posts that they can re-use and repurpose. I also create a social media calendar board in Trello so that they can plan their Facebook posts for the week ahead utilising the content in the content library. I can also assist with the scheduling of the posts on Facebook. This means they have more time to focus on their business and even more time to spend with their family.
I can also provide assistance and support with social media tasks such as creating testimonials and tips graphics in Canva which can be added to the content library.
If you are struggling to get everything done in your business, hand over your admin and social media tasks on your to-do list.
I enjoy helping people and supporting them in their businesses so they have more time for their business and customers or to take time out to relax.
