Sustainable Dittisham and Dartmouth groups can now offer a new service! Our Community Interest Company (CIC) - www.beginbystarting.co.uk has set up a new project to help you cut your energy bills and improve your homes thermal and energy efficiency.

Thermal image surveys – we can locate areas of concern for them to be rectified.
We can help to identify:

Cold air ingress

Leaks & blockages in heating systems

Identify damaged or missing insulation

Thermal bridging

This in turn could help you save money on your heating bills and make your house warmer.

The survey takes approximately 2 hours and is best carried out in the evenings to ensure a good contrast for the thermal imaging camera.

This is a brand-new service so we are looking for residents who would like to identify areas of their house, flat or bungalow that are losing heat. We can also recommend local tradesmen who are experienced in carrying out retrofit work.
