Over time, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about a title — it’s about how you show up. Here are five lessons that have really stood out for me and what I am working on daily for self improvement:
1. Lead by example. People watch what you do more than what you say. Consistency builds trust.
2. Listen first. Taking time to understand others makes people feel valued and leads to better decisions.
3. Empower others. Leadership isn’t about taking all the credit — it’s about helping others rise.
4. Stay calm under pressure. Challenges will come, but how you respond sets the tone for everyone around you.
5. Lead with vision and compassion. Having a big picture is important, but people need to know you genuinely care about them too.

The more I grow, the more I realize: leadership is a daily choice, not a position.

Day 1 - Lake Bled 29/6-30/6
• Drive from Zagreb airport is 2hrs 5mins (210km) should arrive 2pm ish.
• Walk the 6km round the lake from our Vila.
• Have some late lunch in the lake front.
• Visit Bled castle entering via Visce forest
• Climb Ojstrica for the view and that insta shot above ❤️ find a dinner spot on the way down.
• Go to Bled island and eat Potica cake (we are going to go in the morning before we leave).

So I got this new toy at the weekend, has anyone else got one of these? Now just learning how to use it properly and get the best out of it. What features are really cool that I should be looking at first?

Just finished off our amazing 2 day event in Birmingham and what an energy filled training it was. I’ve realised today that up till now I’ve hugely underestimated what we have to offer to everyone and feel a little apologetic that I haven’t shared it to the best of my ability. I’m doing you all a disservice at the moment but we a rolling now with the understanding of how incredible this company really is. Can’t wait to be able to show you all properly ❤️

BOOKED! ✈️✈️❤️ so excited for this one! We have been talking about it all summer and last night we jumped in and booked the flights! The plan is to fly to Zagreb, pick up a car and go to Lake Bled, Slovenia for a night. From there work our way down the Croatian coast to Dubrovnik staying at some great places along the way. Still piecing together the stops along the way so if you have any recommendations or ideas then we would love to hear them! Let the adventure begin!

Was looking for a night near the NEC today for Saturday 23rd November. Did a comparison check with my travel club and a popular booking site. Both results were checked at 15.30 on the 10/10/24 and I’m so grateful to be saving over £30 on the booking! Which one would you rather pay! 😎💷💷

Travel and the travel industry have been such a big part of my life for the last 5-10 years. From doing one of my all time favourite jobs, working on the Ramp, to how I met my wonderful partner. Travel has given me so much joy, excitement and adventures. I want to share our adventures but also the way we access discounts on hotels and many more things, in the hope that other will be able to take advantage of it like we are!
