What can I say... Scotland yet again you have been phenomenal & what a great three days i've had from hiking in the Cairngorms & also summiting Arthurs Seat & Creag Bheag to experiencing some of the local attractions like the mountain railway which takes you up to the Cairngorms mountain which is beside Ben Macdui which is Britain's second highest mountain (Munro), not forgetting the numerous lochs i've had the pleasure of strolling around like today for example Loch Morlich which has it's own beach.

I'm always sad to leave scotland but it leaves me wanting to get out more often when it comes to hiking our countrysides & national parks, it really does refresh the mind & soul, thank you Scotland!

& until next time...

A magical & spectacular hike today within the Cairngorms, from the random wildlife encounters, deep ravines & the constant bombardment of munros, just wow...

5 hours of hiking through some of the most serene & beautiful sights to behold!

This is what I love about hiking in Scotland you just take a path & go for it, all of it uncharted with not a soul in sight all day & abudances of wildlife, what a remarkable country... this trails called East Carn An Freiceadian i've started on this side of the circular & you join onto West Carn An Freiceadian.

But so far this has been such a leisurely hike theres been the odd bit of steep gradient but nothing harsh when you steady yourself.

As always thank you for watching & joining me on my travelling adventures.

What an incredible hike up to the summit of Creag Bheag yesterday evening... the midges were also out in force the little bleeders swarmed me a couple of times but nothing to major they are normally rife this time of the year in all fairness but it didn't make the hike any less enjoyable.

Today I'll be taking another nice hike out into the Highlands but staying a little more grounded today, i'm going to see where my legs take me & what I stumble upon.

Wishing you all a great day ahead... 🤗✨️

The Forth Bridge

Built at the end of the 18th century another remarkable & enduring feat of engineering by the late victorians, which was completely finished in 1890.

When it was constructed it was one of the longest single cantilever bridges in the world until 1919.

The bridge is still used to this current day to keep daily commuters being able to access the beautiful lands of Scotland as well as being an iconic landmark & national treasure to the people of Scotland.

Well what can I say if you want some pretty epic views of Edinburghs skyline you certainly get that on the summit of Arthur's Seat which was once upon a time a volcanoe, the rock formations are other worldly as you gradually ascend to the top.

Overall it's a great little leg stretcher & seeing the views of the city itself & surrounding monuments & munros are well worth that leg stretch.

At the weekend you can find free parking at Holyrood car park which is the best location to start you're hike to the summit.
