BENUE ZONE C LEADERS, WHAT IS HAPPENING?
The recent discussions surrounding INEC's restoration of constituencies ahead of the 2027 General Election have raised serious concerns among the people of Benue Zone C.
As many of us review the reported list of restored constituencies, one question keeps coming up: Why does Benue Zone C appear to have been left out?
Our people have made enormous contributions to the growth and development of Benue State and deserve fair representation in every democratic process. If other areas are benefiting from constituency restoration or adjustments, then the people of Zone C deserve to know where we stand and what efforts have been made on our behalf.
This is not about politics for politics' sake. It is about fairness, inclusion, and effective representation. Leadership is more than occupying public officeโit is about defending the interests of the people and ensuring that no community is left behind.
We respectfully call on our elected representatives, political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and opinion leaders to speak to the people. What steps have been taken? What engagements have occurred? What is being done to ensure that Zone C's interests are protected?
Silence only creates uncertainty. The people deserve clarity, honesty, and accountability.
Benue Zone C is not asking for special treatmentโwe are asking for fairness and equal representation.
If there is no constituency for Zone C on the reported list, why? And who is speaking for the people?
