Thank you for all the offers of pumpkins for the piggies….
Since posting it has been drawn to my attention that we can’t give them carved ones.
They can only have whole ones which haven’t been cut up.
Please don’t throw any into the piggies as this could harm them.
So sorry guys but we have to stick to government rules.
Hope you all had a great Halloween 🎃 we really enjoyed looking at all your decorations!

Spent the last 3 hours with the vet as we have a poorly Hattie.
She had a scan and it looks like she has a build up of fluid in her stomach which is quite common in cattle but can happen in pigs.
He gave her painkiller,antibiotics and an injection to shift the fluid.
She’s covered in straw and being kept warm by the others.
Hopefully she will have improved by the morning.
We’ve got everything crossed for her.
Our thanks to Chris from McMurtry & Harding vets who was with us within 20 minutes of ringing them tonight.

Just shows how a good home and lots of love can turn an animal round. ❤️
