I'd never really played around with adding vegetation to a board before I made "Nature's Wrath"

I decided that this would be a board in which I would go hard or go home whilst still ensuring that the board felt fun, playable and looking good.

This was the result, and I love it.

It's a big question and possibly it is unanswerable but could this be the most modular board ever created?

Whether it is or whether it isn't I'm delighted with how it looks and I've really enjoyed the games I've been able to have on it so far.

This Modular Osgiliath Board was one of my proudest achievements., definitely the most modular board I've ever made, I wonder whether it is the most modular board ever made!

It was the first time I created a board that felt utterly immersive and created exactly the atmosphere that represent the desperate, gritty nature of fighting in one of Lord of the Rings most iconic locations.

100% scratch built, not a 3D print in sight!

Out of all the boards I've ever made I miss this one the most.

Our next rock this series is Granite which has such unique and interesting properties in real life and so that it was important that this is reflected in both the carving and the painting.

The silhouette is create through gentle curves and an absence of sharp angles, the painting is where it really comes together, aside from the predictable black, greys and whites there is green, yellow and even pink.

This is my favourite rock of the series and arguably my favourite rock I've ever carved.

I have absolutely loved painting this grimdark coconut crab tyrannofex Tyranid.
I've finally decided on a paint style for my Tyranid army and I'm very excited about doing the rest in variations on this theme.
