Our Story

Set up to support community projects in the local area, the Dover District Lotto operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community. We empower local good causes to raise money in a fun and effective way. A ticket for the Dover District Lotto costs £1 per week and 60p will go directly to good causes!

DCR aims to provide an opportunity for anyone interested in radio and the community as a whole, to become involved with the radio station to help enhance and inform Dover as a community. Many of our current presenters were introduced into broadcasting by DCR using our training studio, specialist knowledge and experience. Individuals from within the District interested in getting into broadcasting are welcome and encouraged to explore opportunities and ideas.

DCR needs and welcomes your financial support to assist with the acquiring of a temporary or permanent FM licience, the technical running of the station, outside events and other essential activities that go towards running and developing a successful radio station.
