Happy Tuesday Dubhuggerz family 😊
Well - after a lot of ups & downs,and with Huge thanks to you all for your patience,understanding - It is my absolute pleasure to introduce the latest little Dubhugger to you all.
This gorgeous Dubhuggerz girl “ Clementina” is now on route to her VW home in Gloucester,where I’m sure she will have many happy adventures with Helen Murray in her beautiful 1977 Westfalia ‘Clementine’
I thought it’d be great to share with you how each Dubhugger is made, how they get their own personalities,as each one is so different!
I use lots of detail from photos and from what the customer loves to create their look- some of ‘Clementina’s’ are shown in the photos below.
Helen loves Birdwatching ( amongst other things ! )while she is out and about on her travels,so “Clementina” has her very own pair of binoculars so that she can join her Mum watching the birdies ! 🐥
It’s an absolute pleasure to make these Dubhuggerz and I enjoy making every single one of them !

Wow,this just came up- 5 YEARS ago ! The Very 1ST sock monkey that i made for our camper Lola - who'd have thought that 'Dubhuggerz sock monkeys' would be born from this little chap !
He is VERY rough around the edges and i remember it took me hours to figure those little felt shoes out lol but the faces and character havent changed that much.
Awww,without him id never have met so many lovely people. I feel very honoured to make these Dubhuggerz for so many gorgeous VW's & their owners. x

Just a little post to let you know that I am now FINALLY back in the sewing room ( hurray! ) 😊

What an absolute pleasure it is to create these one of a kind little sock people for you - I look forward to making each and every one of them !
It’s time to unveil the latest little Dubhugger - here’s ‘PERCY’
This very cheeky chap arrived safe and sound & is settling into his forever home with Nicky Foster in Barnsley.
He was created as a keepsake for Nicky,after this gorgeous splitscreen ‘Percy’ was hired to celebrate her birthday in style. 💜✌️ Happy travels together ✌️💜

Evening Dubhuggerz folks,
I have been dying to reveal this cheeky pair !
So - picture the scene - It’s 1968 ‘The Summer of Love’ and all the Hipsters are hanging out around ‘Haight -Ashbury’ in San Francisco ✌️
The bottom right hand picture was sent to me by the very lovely Jackie Wallace , who asked if I could possibly recreate the couple in the picture. *No pressure* lol !
I had no idea how I was going to do it,but I am absolutely thrilled with how they turned out - and more importantly so are Jackie & Dave 🤙
The Dubhuggerz have already undertaken a major road trip-with their new home being in Bulgaria,but Jackie tells me they are settling in absolutely fine.
Huge Thanks to Jackie for the challenge,they certainly were that! But I enjoyed every minute making “Mitch & Wally” for you.Thankyou for all of your patience and understanding too.
There are lots more Dubhuggerz already underway now- exciting times! They include a Bride & Groom for Sianne Fleming’s upcoming wedding and Dubhuggerz for Nicky Foster, Debbi Pennington,Helen Murray,Jo Wiggans,Tina Wrixon & Caroline & Angela Watts Kane ,Gill Cleave & on instagram.

Well, Dubhuggerz folk- we only went and made it into VW Bus magazine!
( courtesy of Lee Dubshop Beddoes & the magazine of course) Super proud 😊 This little Dubhugger looks right at home in this T5 !

This super sweet Dubhuggerz Bride & Groom were custom handmade to celebrate the marriage of Miss Lisa Fullwood to Mr Martin Wilkinson yesterday in Staffordshire.
Huge Congratulations to the newlyweds- Mr & Mrs Wilkinson wishing you all the happiness in the world for your future together.
Lisa & Martin chose this beautiful red & white splitscreen as their Wedding car.
What a beauty 😍The Dubhuggerz look pretty pleased with their transport as well !

One little chap that's been kept under wraps is this very cheeky RAF themed Dubhugger - he is just too cute!
Ordered by the lovely ' Karin Sparkles' as a birthday gift for her hubby Robin -This handsome little Dubhugger was a huge hit as a birthday gift and he is now looking forward to lots of VW adventures with Karin,Robin,his Dubhuggerz girlfriend and their beloved T25 "Doug".

To each & every person in our worldwide Dubhuggerz community - " THANKYOU "
As many of you are aware from my previous posts I have had 2 or 3 months of really not feeling my best due to ongoing health issues & sadly - because of this, I have not been able to sew during this time.i can only apologise to you all.
I just wanted to let you know that I am now feeling much better- and that my sewing machine is back up and running again. * hurray!*
If you already have a Dubhuggerz boy or girl booked in- I will be in touch as soon as I reach your order to double check all of the clothes,colours and other details before I begin.
I would just like to say the BIGGEST Thankyou to you all, for the lovely messages & kind words,but most importantly for your patience and your understanding.
You guys really do rock !
