Granville EcoPark is an Award winning, Enhanced Anaerobic Digestion Facility based in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone and the largest AD plant on the island of Ireland. hich can be used directly as fuel in combined heat and power gas engines; it also produces a nutrient-rich digestate which is used as fertiliser by local farmers. Sister company Granville Energy supply are the first in N.Ireland to create and transport renewable fuel, Biomethane, and are hoping to introduce this into the fuel market in the coming years. A Winning Night At The Sustainable Ireland Awards 2018

There was double cause for celebration in November 2018 at the Sustainable Ireland Awards, as both Granville Energy Supply Ltd and Ian Harvey, one of B9 Energy Group’s founding members, were recognised with awards!

Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in South Belfast and compered by television and radio sports presenter Adrian Logan, the ceremony was attended by hundreds of guests and leading figures from the waste management, energy and environmental sectors.

Granville Energy Supply took home the prestigious ‘Energy & Environment Innovation’ award, sponsored by Calor, in recognition of its energy and environmental initiatives. GES is currently the market leader on the island of Ireland in the production and selling of Biomethane and was the first company in Ireland to produce and transport the fuel.
