Updated composition of Sheffield City Council, following John Booker for the Stocksbridge & Upper Don being elected:
🌹 Labour: 36
🔶 Lib Dems: 27
🌎 Greens: 14
👥 Sheffield Community Cllrs: 4
🙋 Independents: 2
➡️ Reform UK: 1
🌳 Conservatives: 0

Next May, 28 of these seats (1 for each ward, which each have 3 seats) are up for grabs.

➡️ A year ago today, aged 23, I stood for Parliament. Responding to Reform UK’s call for candidates, I was selected to stand for Manchester Rusholme. Knowing this wasn’t a winnable seat, I put most of my time and effort over the campaign into much more competitive seats; Barnsley North & South, Boston & Skegness, Chesterfield, Rawmarsh & Conisbrough, Pen*stone & Stocksbridge & Wellingborough.

It was an excellent experience and I’d happily do it all again, come 2029 or before! Interesting to note that in this seat, we’re now polling at 20.1%, with the sitting Labour MP only ahead by 8.6 points…

Huge thanks goes out to all those who stood alongside me last year, in May’s and in all the by-elections since! You’re all offering the UK real HOPE for a better future - with Nigel Farage as Prime Minister. 🇬🇧

🚨 BREAKING: hard-left Jeremy Corbyn ally Zarah Sultana RESIGNS from Labour. The Coventry South MP made some stark statements this evening 👇

🔴 Starmer’s gov is “active participant in genocide”

♿️ Gov “wants to make disabled people suffer”

➡️ Farage is “a billlionare backed grifter” and that “In 2029, the choice will be stark: socialism or barbarism.”

💥 So… there we have it! Corbyn and his hard left allies are back and are launching a new party! Time will tell how much damage this will do to what remains of Labour’s activist base. Will TUSC and any other minor left wing parties join in on the fun?

😅 Amusing times ahead!

Killingworth (North Tyneside) Council By-Election Result:
➡️ RFM: 38.5% (New) 🏆
🌹 LAB: 31.9% (-22.7)
🌳 CON: 21.4% (-3.5)
🌍 GRN: 4.2% (-16.3)
🔶 LDM: 4.0% (New)

Reform GAIN from Labour.
Changes w/ 2024.
