Only a few days to go till our first event in nearly 2 months đŸ˜” where Venice Treacle descend from the depths of Exeter, hot on their UK tour, to bring angular, taught psych rock reminiscent of acts like XTC, Captain Beefheart, Devo, and Krautrock.
The line up is completed by The Decadent Dayze, and MAP71.
We always look forward to seeing our lineups play out in the flesh- but we are most excited to see YOU!đŸ«”!. As disgustingly creepy as that sounds, we have missed you during our Months sabbatical, and are refreshed and ready to rip the rest of the year a new one. Tickets in the bio- (save yourself ÂŁ3 by buying in advance).

The Decadent Dayze are practically an institution around the Brighton psych scene having spent many years cultivating the very best of psych from around the South coast at their Psychedelic Sundae events.
The band heads over to Eastbourne for their first ever show here (which seems absurd
but that’s why we’re here) alongside MAP 71, and Venice Treacle- on Thurs Sept 25th at The Grove theatre.
Sonically they hold elements of India era Beatles, a dash of The Doors, XTC, Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, Spaceman 3 and other transcendental -“end of an all nighter” floaty vibes, and impressionistic poetry, and cosmic themes.

MAP 71 are coming to The Grove Theatre Eastbourne for our next event in support of The Decadent Dayze, and Venice Treacle.

MAP 71 are a longstanding drum and vocal duo on the art scene who to us sound a bit like Massive attack meeting the avant art pop of acts like Little Dragon, but that’s as close a description as we can come up with, which still seems to fall short of their unique ever changing combination of sounds, from gamelan bells, to deep punishing bass- combined with effected vocals, and sometimes bone dry spoken word poetry.

The event overall has top tier psychedelic tinged acts for your enjoyment that look set to launch your minds into outer space.

Tickets are available for this event now, which can be found in our bio.

The wonderful NONSENSE from Mind Harvest 2025. An absolute joy to witness- hands down our jewel in the crown of wtf unexpected entertainment since orchestrating showcase nights for outsider acts. Performative dance and harsh wailing noise with moments of contemplative metaphor set to a fertility ritual, bravely executed, and delivered with a sincerity that otherwise could have easily slid into Mighty Boosh random for randoms sake humour- NONSENSE didn’t suffer that trap, as they moved to each stage of the ritual demanding the audience join them in this experience. .febsa

Assorted snaps from today’s main acts. Extra special thanks to Kiki, and Dan Pearse for one of the most astounding between act entertainment sets we could have hoped for. Your art is always welcome at Minds Eye. We/I sadly didn’t take any pictures of their act out of respect plus it was pretty NSFW, you should have been there I guess
anyhoo- Big love to everyone who took part- and massive shout out to Robber Byker for the lights and sounds throughout the day!. And to everyone who came- we hope you appreciated the madball days entertainment we provided for you. And we hope to see you at future instalments of The Celler Dweller & Minds eye events 🙏 .febsa

Announcement: The wonderful Be Kind Cadaver have been added to our already jam packed line up, saving our behinds following Spangles cancellation last week
..and just when you thought they were in the wicker man gradually being burnt to a crisp Doctor Spangle have confirmed they will in fact now be performing a shorter electro set on the day. We are incredibly excited to see these two bands in action, and what they bring to our harvest.
