Scotland needs an inquiry into grooming gangs to uncover the truth, protect victims, and ensure accountability. Without it, survivors are left unheard, communities lose trust, and the system cannot learn from past failures. An independent investigation would shine a light on what went wrong, safeguard children in the future, and show that Scotland takes the protection of its most vulnerable seriously.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I’m not ashamed of my country. I am a proud Scottish man who served in a number of Scottish infantry units for 24 years. I have given much of my life in service, and in that time I have watched both Scotland and the wider UK being taken to the dogs over the years.

I’m not racist, if anyone is wondering. I have a Ghanaian wife, and she has been living and working in Scotland for over 37 years.

The pictures below show the Derby Mayor ( Councillor Ajit Singh Atwal) who was appointed this year, and the other shows the Palatine Flag being raised only the other day on a Scottish Government building. Our culture is slowly starting to be taken from us, and as a Scotsman I am not going to sit back and say nothing about it.

As far as Scotland’s First Minister is concerned — שיילך להזדיין 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 translate that if you want ゚

Flying the Scottish flag honors heritage, unity, and pride. It symbolizes resilience and shared identity—showing love for Scotland. This is only going to get nasty, and I personally believe the council should back down.

Scottish regiments—like the Royal Scots, Black Watch, and Cameronians—were serving in Southeast Asia, India, and the Pacific as part of the British Army. Many had fought in Burma or had been taken prisoner earlier in the war. After Japan’s surrender, some of these Scottish troops were reassigned to the British Commonwealth Occupation Force and entered Japan later in 1946 to serve in Hiroshima and Yamaguchi.

King Robert III of Scotland (born 14 August 1337, originally christened John Stewart) reigned as King of Scots from 1390 until his death on 4 April 1406 . Injured by a horse kick in 1388, he suffered from lasting disability and wielded little real power, which instead fell to his brother, the Duke of Albany . His rule was further undermined by tragedy: his eldest son, David, Duke of Rothesay, died in suspicious circumstances in captivity in 1402, and his younger son James was sent abroad but captured by pirates in 1406 . Stricken by grief and frustration, Robert III famously asked to be buried in a midden with the epitaph “Here lies the worst of kings and the most wretched of men”

July 25 through July 29, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump is in Scotland, visiting his golf properties at Turnberry (South Ayrshire) and the Menie Estate in Aberdeenshire.

During this four- to five-day private trip, Trump is expected to inaugurate a new 18-hole course at his Menie Estate, which honours his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod. He will also hold meetings with UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Scottish First Minister John Swinney, likely to be around Monday.
