Was an absolute pleasure producing the first-ever Bug Eyes Media Live Session at with the incredibly talented .

A huge thank you to Barney, Pat, Paul and Richard for trusting me with the opportunity to capture the energy, musicianship and atmosphere of the band live on stage.

In 2026 I took a chance on myself.

I made the decision to invest heavily in myself with the goal of building something of my own. It wasn't an easy decision, but I knew that if I didn't try, I'd always wonder what could have been, as I had been for the past decade of hiatus.

Since April I've spent almost every spare hour filming, editing, colour grading and learning. Nights, weekends, days off, it has all gone into trying to build Bug Eyes Media.

This showreel is a collection of the work I've produced over the last three months. Every shot represents another step forward.

If you know a business that could benefit from cinematic video content, I'd really appreciate you sharing this with them. Every recommendation genuinely helps a small business grow.

Decided to make a Spec Ad this time not trying to focus on lighting, but sound design.

I wanted this Aperini spec ad to mimic a beach, so going from outdoor ambience to waves for the close up. Keeping it simple, but letting the sound make it seem bigger than it actually is.

It's me again...back with another spec ad.

After making my first Libre spec commercial, I loved the aesthetic enough that I wanted to take another shot at it with more equipment.

This second version explores a different look through the lighting, camera movement and colour grade. Personal projects like these are a great way to keep improving and try ideas that I can bring into future client work.

One month ago, Bug Eyes Media existed only as an idea.

Today there's a live website, completed client projects, commercial spec adverts, and conversations with businesses and local musicians about future work.

There's still a long way to go, but every project teaches something new.

Thank you to everyone who's supported, shared my work or trusted me with a camera so far.

Onwards.

Libre Yves Saint Laurent Spec Commercial.

A self-initiated project exploring premium product cinematography using flames, smoke, atmosphere, controlled lighting and cinematic colour grading.

Created to challenge my lighting, composition and post-production workflow while building my commercial portfolio.

No client. No brief. Just an opportunity to try something I had not yet attempted.
