Caught some pretty dramatic scenes over Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh today a wildfire tearing across the hillside.

Really hope no one was hurt and that the local wildlife managed to get clear.

Nature’s beauty can turn so quickly, one minute, it’s a postcard view, the next, it’s a reminder of just how fragile these places are.

🎥 Glad I could capture the moment, but I’d much rather be filming calmer scenes up here.

Still Making a Racket Just With Better Gear (and Fewer Council Complaints)

In the early 90s, I played with an original band (Southside), we hijacked the Edinburgh Fringe every year. No permits. Just a generator, original tunes, and the odd REM cover. 🫣

We played so loudly that they put up barriers to stop us. We even pi**ed off Mike Oldfield during his castle soundcheck.
(I’ll take that as a compliment.) 🤣

Fast forward, I’m still making noise.
Now it’s:

🎥 Story-led videos that feel real
🎙 Podcasts that hold attention
🚁 Drone shots that stop the scroll

Same mission: help people get seen.😃

Only now, I help business owners who don’t want content that feels fake or forced, just something that shows them at their best.

Edinburgh, you tasty beast.

Spent the day at The Foodies Festival doing what I do best: soaking up good vibes, great food, and too much sun (note to self: SPF next time, ya numpty). 🦞

What hit the spot:
🎺 A great band playing washboards like they were headlining Glasto
🌮 Street food from every corner of the map
👨‍🍳 Chefs performing culinary foreplay while we all pretended we weren’t starving

Here’s the thing: The Fringe might get all the headlines, but these little pockets of local joy?
They’re where the real magic happens.

And aye, I definitely considered pitching a stall for “content you can taste” (watch this space).

No flying today… but here’s a recent snap over Glasgow.
