Attend one of 3 hands-on urology workshops taking place this year on the 16th November in Edinburgh.

⭐Flexible Cystoscopy - The Workshop aims to give delegates the necessary prerequisite information and skills in preparation for training to perform flexible cystoscopies. Delegates will have the opportunity to practice safely on models, as well as discuss any individual issues with our experienced workshop leads while networking with the other delegates. The Workshop is aimed at nurses wanting to learn how to perform flexible cystoscopies or to further develop their skills.

⭐LATP Workshop - This will help prepare Specialist Nurses to perform local anaesthetic prostate biopsies independently. We will provide the theory and practice behind both cognitive and fusion-based local anaesthetic transperineal biopsy procedure. There will also be time for hands on experience with equipment using the latest technology in the presence of trained professionals and industry partners.

⭐Essential Skills - aimed at junior urology nurses or those working in a setting looking after urology patients who require an overview of up-to-date guidelines and the opportunity to practice or update skills. The areas that will be covered in the workshop will include Bladder washouts / maintenance / bladder instillations (not intravesical chemotherapy), Care of nephrostomies, Change of SP catheter / Catheter change over guidewire, Difficult catheterisations, Digital re**al examination, IPSS, bladder diary, Uroflowmetry, urinalysis, bladder scanning.
