Happy new shock day for the road bike. Hopefully bringing a new lease of life into the old girl.

Mixed feelings after the weekend.

Sprint on Saturday was good fun and a nice relaxed format however the lack of seeded running order made it a little chaotic with some fast riders coming through the field. I only managed 1 clear run out of 6. A few mistakes of my own so I am also to blame.

In the youth race, Jack managed his sighting lap and two clean runs. Third run tried too hard and crashed, thankfully at the spectator area and close to the paramedics. He collected a nasty gash on his leg from some sleepers on the outside of the corner.

That was the end of his weekend despite chomping at the bit to get out again on Sunday. I didn’t want to risk it.

Massive recognition to Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club for their continued efforts putting on events. A new club learning with every event. It’s no easy.

Grown up numbers 😬

Big thanks to CKM Designs for helping with a last minute request. I put off competing until now due to injury, as a result numbers were not a priority until oh this week.

First time using clear grip and I am impressed.

Final packing tomorrow.

Next stop Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club.
