Itâs true... losing fat once youâre over 30 can feel harder. But not for the reasons most people think.
A lot of people blame their slowing metabolism for their lack of progress, but in reality, thatâs rarely the issue.
Even if your metabolism did drop and you burned, say, 200 fewer calories a day, do you really think thatâs whatâs stopping you from seeing results? Probably not.
The truth is, life after 30 looks different.
Ten years ago, at age 21, I lived at home, had a straightforward 9-5, no children, and barely any real responsibilities. Life was pretty easy-going.
Fast forward to now, and itâs a whole different story. And if you look back at your own 20s, your situation is probably different too.
Yet, despite that, hereâs what most people still doâŠ
They try to follow the exact same routine that worked when they were 20â25 and wonder why it doesnât work for them anymore.
Sure, if you could hit the gym 5-6x a week, do cardio 3-4 times, prep every meal, skip family dinners, keep your career moving, let your partner handle the housework, and never get tired⊠youâd get results easily, right? đ
But letâs be honest, how long is that going to last? đ
Hereâs the real problem: itâs not your metabolism or your body changing. Itâs your lifestyle.
So instead of going from zero workouts to five, what if there was a middle ground?
Instead of cutting out all âbadâ foods and trying to prep breakfast, lunch and dinner, what if you learned portion control and focused on protein, while still eating with your family? đ€
Getting leaner in your 30s, 40s, and beyond is 100% possible.
You just need a plan that fits your life as it is now, not what worked when you were 21.
