HAVE YOU TRULY FOUND THE KINGDOM?

Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to treasure hidden in a field. After discovering it, a man joyfully sold everything to possess it. This teaches that encountering God’s kingdom transforms our values, desires and direction.

A person who has truly found the kingdom recognises Christ as their greatest treasure and begins seeking God’s rule above every earthly pursuit. They joyfully surrender everything to Him because obedience is no longer considered a burden. Their priorities and desires are transformed as eternal matters replace worldly ambitions.

Their changed heart also produces righteous kingdom fruit through their character, relationships and service. Rather than living only for temporary possessions, they invest their time, abilities and resources in treasures that have eternal value. Furthermore, they remain committed to Christ without continually looking back at what they surrendered.

When we genuinely discover the kingdom, Jesus becomes worth more than everything we leave behind. True discipleship is therefore not reluctant loss, but joyful exchange for an incomparable treasure. Have you truly found the Kingdom of God? Be blessed.

PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES AND ABUSERS (DISCLAIMER - DOESN’T MEAN ACCEPT OR CONDONE ABUSE)

Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:44, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Praying for those who have hurt us IS NOT EASY, but it protects our hearts from hatred and places the situation in God’s hands.

Pray for their salvation, because God desires everyone to encounter His truth. Ask Him to bring them to genuine repentance and show them mercy. Pray that they will be delivered from evil influences and destructive patterns. Since hurt people often hurt others, ask God to heal the wounds they may be carrying.

Also pray for personal wisdom and safe boundaries. Loving an abuser does not require permitting continued mistreatment or remaining in danger. Finally, release justice into God’s hands rather than pursuing revenge. Romans 12:19 declares, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath.”

Prayer does not excuse abuse; it frees your heart while trusting God to judge, heal and transform. You've got this. Give it a try. Be blessed.

DO YOU SERVE GOD FAITHFULLY?

Daniel’s faithfulness was so evident that even the king recognised his devotion to the living God (Daniel 6:20). Likewise, our commitment to God should be visible in how we live.

Consistent prayer keeps our fellowship with Him alive, while obedience to His Word demonstrates our love for Him. Moreover, integrity in our responsibilities honours God and makes our testimony credible. When pressure arises, loyalty means remaining committed to God rather than compromising our convictions.

Faithful believers also serve diligently in God’s work, knowing their labour in the Lord is never wasted (1 Corinthians 15:58). Furthermore, their love becomes practical through helping others, because God remembers such service (Hebrews 6:10).

Finally, perseverance through trials reveals devotion that goes beyond convenience. Faithfulness does not mean we will never face lions; it means we continue trusting God even among them. Let your daily choices testify that you belong to Him and serve Him wholeheartedly.

IT COSTS YOU MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE NOT TO BEAR GOOD FRUIT IN GOD’S KINGDOM

Jesus warns in Matthew 7:19 that every tree without good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. This reminds us that Christian living must produce visible evidence of faith through love, obedience, holiness and service.

Remaining unfruitful exposes us to God’s judgment and the danger of being cut off from the vine. Moreover, it wastes the opportunities He graciously provides for repentance, growth and meaningful service.

When our lives lack godly fruit, we fail to glorify the Father and become ineffective in advancing His kingdom. Consequently, our work may lack enduring value, resulting in lost rewards. Others also miss the nourishment, encouragement and practical blessings our lives should offer.

However, fruitfulness begins with abiding in Christ, allowing His Word to shape our choices and His Spirit to transform our character. Therefore, let us faithfully use our gifts and opportunities to honour God and bless others every day. Yes, we can. Let's start now. Be blessed.

MASTER UNPROFITABLE DISTRACTIONS

Not everything permissible is profitable. In 1 Corinthians 6:12, Paul declares, “I will not be dominated by anything.” As Christians, we must refuse to let distractions control our lives or weaken our devotion to God.

Begin by testing whether your activities truly benefit your spiritual growth and calling. Keep your eyes on Jesus, allowing His purpose to guide your priorities. Because time is precious, use it wisely rather than surrendering it to endless entertainment, fruitless conversations, or unnecessary commitments.

Furthermore, establish boundaries that protect your attention and practise the self-control produced by the Holy Spirit. Even seemingly harmless habits must be laid aside when they hinder your obedience and progress. Through consistent prayer, remain watchful and receive strength to resist whatever pulls you away from God.

Mastering distractions requires daily decisions. As you choose purpose over passing pleasure, you become more focused, fruitful, and available for the work God has entrusted to you. You can do it. Start today. Be blessed.

KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCRIPTURES MAKES ONE WISE

Second Timothy 3:15 teaches that the Holy Scriptures make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Biblical knowledge reveals the way of salvation, showing us why Christ came and how we receive eternal life through faith.

Scripture also gives us true knowledge of God, enabling us to understand His character, purposes and ways. As we mature in the Word, our spiritual senses become trained to distinguish good from evil. Its truth corrects false thinking, exposes error and brings our beliefs into agreement with God.

The Bible becomes a lamp for our choices, providing direction when life appears confusing. It protects us from spiritual deception by helping us test teachings, prophecies and popular opinions against divine truth. Moreover, Scripture equips us for righteous living, preparing us to serve God faithfully.

A Christian who consistently studies, believes and obeys God’s Word develops wisdom that leads to salvation, discernment, stability and fruitful living. Know the word and grow wise. Be blessed.
