Here’s a behind the scenes throwback to our first project working with on their Action For Brain Injury Week campaign in 2023. 🎥

The project saw us filming with brain injury survivors as they told their deeply personal stories of recovery.

Headway is an absolutely incredible charity, working across the UK to support brain injury survivors and their families.

We’re incredibly proud to have worked with their amazing team on multiple projects over the past few years.

With all of the talk of A-level results yesterday, it made me think again of how vitally important it is to encourage young people to believe that their creative career ambitions are achievable, with or without high grades or degrees.

It’s why I’ve mentored with artsemergency and have talked to Media students at Exeter College about careers in the creative industries with Charlie from One Up Productions.

In a world where there’s a lot of negative talk about the direction of the creative industries and the technology that’s disrupting them, it’s important that we don’t discourage young creatives from even trying at all!

The path towards something you’re passionate about is worth it, even if it’s hard or you feel the odds are stacked against you.

Good luck to all of the creative students who got their results yesterday (not that you’ll see this but…) make sure you keep creating! 🎬🎨🎶✍️

Earlier this year, team SHARE took on the 48 Hour Film Challenge and we won an award for our medical drama parody ‘King of Hearts’! ♥️

In the contest, your team is given a genre, line of dialogue and a prop to include in your film, so it forces you think on your toes! (Which is great when it’s so easy to procrastinate over ideas in filmmaking!)

It’s always a hilarious competition to take part in, and fantastic to see what the local filmmaking community comes up with!
