Dont leave it too late as the last conference was a sell out! Both have a superb line up of knowledgeable speakers.

Following the sucessful Buildings Conference please use these details if you wish to support the application for the listing of Exeter Central Station
Re Central Station listing application,we have 18 days to respond to the HE consultation.
I have been sent a link to the HE assessment report: http://services.historicengland.org.uk/.../GetFiles.aspx...
If you support the application please email Jerome Tait in the next 18 days, [email protected] with the Case Number (Background 14953) letting him know why you think it deserves protection. It is a good quality, unspoiled 1933 station in an interesting combination of styles in a city centre street that has other good historic buildings.
Thank you from Jo Cox and me

Today we highlight Todd Gray's & Sue Jackson's best seller St. Martin's Island. This is the book he produced after the fire at the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter's city centre. It details the history of the buildings in the block around the hotel (the parish of St. Martins) which was once thought of as an "island". People have really enjoyed this book.
