I’d like to take a moment to apologise.

I’ve been so busy with life - client meetings, proposals, summer holiday activities with the kids, getting ready for jetting off for 2 weeks in October… that I haven’t posted in a while.

I’m still here though.

Like every small business owner, I get busy and my business social media gets pushed down a list of priorities. This is true for so many people, and shows just how valuable having a social media manager can be to help you out.

As American author and CEO Michael Hyatt once said, “Marketing is really just about sharing your passion.”

Who better to promote your business than someone who loves it as much as you do?

I’m passionate about fashion. I studied it at uni and worked in the industry for years as a brand manager, visual merchandiser and personal shopper. I’m proud to have dressed many famous faces (some I’ve had lasting professional relationships with). 👖

I’m such a foodie. I love cooking at home and trying out new restaurants, flavours and cuisines. I’ve worked on content and strategy with caterers and food brands like Coca-Cola GB. 🩷

I also have a love of planning and hosting a range of events. From fashion styling in department stores to speed dating singles events in cool city centre locations, I’m always up for the task. 🥂

Not to mention my love of all things social media, particularity Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest!

I firmly believe that passion really shines through. It makes such a difference in the quality of the content produced, and in sales as a result.

Growing a social media account is a marathon not a sprint.

It *has* to be with the right strategy.

You win on social media by being sociable.

Know your audience inside out. The better you know them, the more attention you can get from them by posting relevant, engaging content.

This will result in more people liking your content, commenting and clicking through to your profile to follow you.

I know I’ve been quiet on my own social media lately, but behind the scenes right now I’m working on A LOT.

I’m going to split my business in two:
The Social Sphere - social media
The Style Sphere - fashion styling

This means I’ve been busy building:
-The Social Sphere website
-The Style Sphere fashion blog and website

These should launch in the coming months, if all goes to plan. As always, I’ll keep you posted!

Hi!

My name is Lucy. I’m a 36 year old mum of 2 - a toddler girl and a baby boy.

I have over 15 years experience in social media marketing, working with some big names (including Coca-Cola, Disney, H&M and schuh to name a few) to small local businesses. I’ve worked client side, agency side and freelance.

I’ve also over 10 years experience as a personal stylist, trained in personal shopping, fashion styling and visual merchandising. I’ve planned and hosted fashion wardrobe events, fashion shows and dressed some very well known celebrities, both male and female.
