Last night we took to with a great reception from the audience. It was amazing to return home to Carmarthen where it all began about 15 years ago, and share some of the chaotic stories of getting this film made. Shoutout to for hosting an excellent Q&A!

We have had an amazing response so far with applications to our Filmmaking Summer Camp 2025, with only one space left within the 17-22 age group! Get your application in before Wednesday and join us for two weeks of practical filmmaking at Yr Egin, Carmarthen starting on the 11th of August.

Wedi derbyn cefnogaeth ar gyfer y cynllun peilot hwn, byddwn yn agor yr ystod oedran gymwys i 12-16 a 17-22. Mae lleoedd cyfyngedig ar gael i’r ddau grŵp hyn weithio ar wahân ac ochr yn ochr gyda’i gilydd, i ddatblygu ystod o sgiliau a chynhyrchu ffilm eu hunain ar Wersyll Ffilm yr Haf.

Mae hyn yn caniatáu i ni archwilio byd addysg ffilm yn ehangach, i baratoi ar gyfer prosiectau addysg ac i hyfforddi eraill yn y dyfodol.

With the support we’ve received for this pilot scheme, we’ll be opening up the eligible age range to 12-16 and 17-22. Limited spaces will be available for both of these groups, as they work separately and alongside each other on the Filmmaking Summer Camp to develop a range of skills and produce a film of their own.

This allows us to explore film education more broadly, in preparation for other education and training projects in the future.

🚨UPDATE: The Filmmaking Summer Camp is now COMPLETELY FREE!

Gwerth lle ar y cwrs yw £400, ond rydym bellach yn gallu cynnig y cyfan am ddim i unrhywun rhwng 12 a 22 oed. Mae lleoedd yn gyfyngedig ac mae rhai eisoes wedi'u cymryd, felly cofrestrwch yn fuan a chyn Awst 6ed.

Each place on our 10-day filmmaking crash course is worth £400, and now we're able to offer it all completely free to anyone within the age ranges of 12-16 and 17-22. Spaces are limited and a few are already taken, so sign up soon and before August 6th.

3 Reasons to Join Our Summer Filmmaking Camp

1. Hands-on experience in a working production studio.
This isn’t a theory class. You’ll be learning how to make a short film in a real studio - the same place professionals use to create broadcast content.
