Scottish contemporary folk band, made up of fantastic female musicians. Their sound is rooted in traditional Scottish folk music, but it’s much more energetic and modern than a quiet traditional folk session - lots of fiddles, strings, rhythm and big, uplifting arrangements. Definitely a band to watch. So much energy and enthusiasm!

Where has the warm weather gone? 🥶 we’re down to 10 degrees in August! On the upside- the St Fillans Village Store has lovely warm coffee, cakes and rolls to warm us up ☕️

Visit Cardiff also highlights Castle Arcade for its food and specialist shops, and Cardiff’s seven historic arcades collectively now contain 100+ shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Cardiff actually has more Victorian and Edwardian shopping arcades than any other UK city - hence its nickname “City of Arcades.”

A few new places are popping up, with renovations currently underway in several of the units. Such a beautiful historic arcade - it’s lovely to see new independent businesses bringing fresh energy into it while keeping all that wonderful character. ✨
