Hi everyone, Nicola and I cant wait to see you all as we return to the salon next Wednesday😬😬🥳 Abbie doesnt start until the 1st of August so she will put any other guidelines for her up before hand if need be. There are some changes and rules to how we have to operate in the salon! This is quite a long post but hopefully covers all points and questions clients may have.
Please arrive at appointment on your own. Wait outside the salon until we open the door to welcome you in. If you are early for your appointment we are now no longer able to offer a waiting area so we recommend not arriving any earlier than your appointment time unless we have asked you to!
We will sanitise your hands on arrival and ask that you are wearing your face mask and keep this on throughout your treatment. Nicola and I will be wearing visors or a mask and gloves. We will be using gowns once and then putting them straight in the wash as soon as its removed. Everything will be sterilised and cleaned before we use it on you and afterwards.
We are not allowed to offer refreshments anymore or magazines but please feel free to bring your own with you.
The toilet can be used but only if it is absolutely necessary as we then have to clean it thoroughly afterwards which takes us longer than normal.
We are not able to do dry cuts at the moment as we have to make sure the hair is thoroughly washed before being able to remove our gloves to cut your hair so all cuts will be washed, cut and blow dried. If you are having a colour service could you please make sure your hair is freshly washed and dried no more than 24hours before coming in.
Cash payment is still preferable but those who feel uncomfortable with this may prefer to do an online bank transfer
Please give us atleast 48 hours notice for any cancellations. Any less will result in a 50% cancellation fee. If you or anyone you have been in contact with have displayed ANY symptoms of COVID-19 we ask you to cancel your appointment immediately! We cannot risk infecting other clients or ourselves and family! If you arrive to the salon and are showing any signs of COVID-19 we will have to ask you to leave right away. We will be taking names and contact details for the track and trace system to keep us all safe. If you are running late for your treatment , this is likely you may loose your appointment as we are on very strict time scales and cant risk running behind for our next clients. As appointments are at a premium this may result in a very long wait before getting a new one.
As much as I hate to say this Nicola and I will have to put our prices up just slightly! Sorry🙈 With the added cost of PPE, extra cleaning measures and high volume of laundry, this has a big impact on our outgoings. Roots that are ususally just roots may be more like a full head colour, trims may be more like restyles and for those who have been using home kits to colour their hair may need more of a colour correction! please be aware of this and bear with us, we find this all just as frustrating as you and we want you to be able to come in and be pampered again, in a new but hopefully enjoyable way! We will be doing the best we can for you so please try to be as understanding as you can, we can’t wait to have you all feeling nice about your hair again😬💕
