December marks the turn of the seasons... Winter is upon us! ❄️

It's the time of the goddess Beira, the Nimble Men dancing and fighting in the night sky, and the Cailleach Nollich burning in the fire. We gather to celebrate the winter solstice, the passing of the old year, and the beginning of a new.

We love the Scottish Highlands for its overwhelming natural beauty - and that's okay! But it's important to see, that it's not "just" about pretty scenery...

My conversation with Will Sadler from Anya Media and Fiona Mackenzie from dives deep into the way we talk about the Highlands as podcasters and storytellers. We talk about the making of "Highlands Reimagined" and hear what impact we as visitors can have on locals who live in Scotland's rural areas.

"I reach the edge of the stream, look to my left, and there - as if by magic - appears a narrow gorge. And at its far end, a waterfall cascades down the steep, rocky slope."

Hiking in the national park is always full of surprises 💕

Join me for views above Loch Katrine, a wander in the woodlands surrounding Aberfoyle and a dip in Loch Ard 💦

Why do young people want to live in the northern Highlands?

What do you do, when you want to live in the village you grew up in, but there are no houses to live in, and the only jobs available are seasonal or temporary roles?

And who has the power to change what life in the Highlands has to offer?

"Highlands Reimagined" seeks answers to these questions and more... Listen now to all three parts on the podcast feed!
