The Community Council paid their respects to the late Mr Malcolm Foulkes who served as a Community Councillor for many years. Malcolm was also on the Committee that raised funds to build the Village Centre – he will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Powys County Council, Highways Department have explained that all Road Closures are detailed on their website one.network.org.uk – suggestion to be made that this is put onto the actual signs so that motorists can look at the Website and see where on the road the actual closure is.
A good response has been received to the news a=that Powys County Council will make land available down Domgay lane for the purpose of Allotments. A site meeting will be organised with the Estates Manager to look at whether water is available and fencing of the site.

The Council has a duty under the Biodiversity Act to try and improve the eco systems within its Community. Councillors felt that a metre strip of grass could be planted with wildflowers adjacent to the Sarn Wen Brook on Foxen Manor.
The Council is continuing to receive complaints about the vehicles parked outside Wiltshire House, just across from the mini-roundabout as you travel out of the Village towards Llandrino. These vehicles are parked at least 2ft into the road which causes an obstruction. The local PCSO will be asked to speak to the owners to try and make them realise that this will lead to an accident.
