I had a very exciting early start this morning as I went to gorgeous Christchurch, to set up my new display at the fabulous Troveuk
Once I was all set up, we went for a yummy cooked breakfast and a lovely walk along the Marina!
What a lovely way to start a sunny Sunday morning!

WORK IN PROGRESS SNIPPET…

This is the first time I’ve felt able to add my gorgeous little Winnie into a painting since we lost her 6 months ago. It was totally heartbreaking as we lost her very suddenly and traumatically….so it’s taken me a long time to even be able to look at photos of her!

Winnie was a wonderful and very special girl, she was an amazing therapy dog to our son….and to all of us really…so it’s been an incredibly hard loss for us all! ….but now I feel it’s time to start popping her back into my paintings again!
RIP sweet girl and thank you for looking after us all for all those years! X

***WORK IN PROGRESS***
I’ve managed to do a bit more work on my latest painting today, even though I was fighting against the heat, and paints drying as they hit the canvas!!

It’s so weird painting a snowy scene in a heatwave!! 😂

I’ve started work on the first of my ‘you know what’ paintings today!! And I must apologise to my family for humming Carols as I was working!! I couldn’t help myself!! 😂
Still lots to do on this one, but I think I’m happy with the palette so far!!

I’m selling at an artisan market today and have been doodling one of the other ideas I have for my Christmas designs for this year!….in between serving my customers!!!

Working as an artist means that the images you work on are never normally in the right season……so with that in mind, I thought you might like to see what’s next on my easel!

The first of this years ….’you know what’ designs for this years cards and gifts!

I’m hoping to get at least 2 new ones done for this year….during August!! X😀
