Save the Date cards are a great way to give your guests a heads up on your special day, especially if you’re planning a destination wedding or have a lot of out-of-town guests.

The sooner you send out your Save the Date cards the less double-booked guest you’ll have, so it is a good idea to send at least 6 months before your wedding date, and as early as possible if your guests will have to make special arrangements to attend. You don’t have to add all of the details—simply your names, the date, and the general location!

I’ve been working hard on these bespoke art deco inspired party invitations for Helen in the last couple of weeks—they’re looking fantastic and are pretty much ready to go to print now. Helen was keen to go “full on” jazz age, and her inspiration for the party was The Great Gatsby mixed with the Peaky Blinders (it’s being held in Birmingham after all). My inspirations to bring her vision to life: Erte’s fashion illustrations and magazine covers, jazz club flyers, glamour, and art deco material design.The design, illustration, patterns and map were all created for this project...
