Check out our Daz's interview with widely acclaimed British composer and musician Robert Ames who is bringing The Sound of Space: Sci-fi Film Soundtracks to Sage 1 at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead on 30th January 2025.

This stunning concert will be a shining supernova of songs and music from your favourite sci-fi film music.

Strap on your seat belts because the pocket rockets from Royal Northern Sinfonia will be taking you on an out-of- this-world adventure. Robert Ames is our chief astronaut for the mission (conductor). And together they’ll be blasting off into some of the most loved music from the best sci-fi films, including Gravity, Interstellar, and Alien.

NEW: Olise destined for Chelsea

According to the Shields Gazette, it seems that Chelsea have beaten Newcastle in the race for Michael Olise. the winger was in fantastic form last season for the eagles, netting 10 in just 19 apperances, spurring palace onto a good finish in the end. Reportedly the fee will be around £60,000,000. Chelsea were on course to acquire his services last summer, but fell through late on.

NEW: NUFC STANCE ON YANKUBA MINTEH

Newcastle are said to be reluctant considering cashing in on exciting winger Yankuba Minteh, according to the Telegraph. The Magpies have had high hopes for the teenager, who impressed on loan at Feyenoord last season, but there's growing interest in the forward and bids of £40m could tempt United to let him move on. Such a sale would help Newcastle in the battle to ensure they comply with the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules and ease any pressure on cashing in on star assets Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes. Liverpool are one of the clubs to have been linked with Minteh, with new boss Arne Slot having managed the winger at Feyenoord last season.

Surely, it's 'Hands Off' on this one.
