In case you missed it...

My first podcast is now live on YouTube with Puneet Dwivedi.

Spoiler alert: I don't have the recipe for success. However, in sharing my journey and the lessons I've learned along the way, I hope to inspire young people, especially Indian women, to believe in themselves, recognise their abilities, and go after their dreams.

Thanks again to Puneet for the opportunity, I couldn't have asked for a better host.

I hope you enjoy it.

🌕 Guru Purnima 🌕

A sacred day to bow down in reverence and gratitude. 🙏

Today, I offer my deepest pranam to all the Gurus in my life—not just the ones with titles or teachings, but to every soul, every moment, every challenge that has guided me, knowingly or unknowingly, to where I stand today.

My journey began with my first teachers—my mother and father, whose love, values, and sacrifices laid the foundation of who I am.

But today, I also want to especially honour my grandmother, whose wisdom was woven into everyday moments, whose stories carried strength, and whose unconditional love was a silent, powerful guidance throughout my life. Her blessings have been a quiet force behind everything I do.

Life itself has been a teacher—through its people, its trials, its unexpected turns. Every joy, every pain, every encounter has shaped me, taught me, and helped me evolve.

I bow in deep gratitude to PP Swami Ramdev ji and PP Acharya Bal Krishna ji—for their unwavering inspiration, their path of discipline and healing, and for being living embodiments of ancient wisdom adapted for today’s world. Their guidance has uplifted my spiritual and physical journey in immeasurable ways.

To every person, every experience that has touched my soul—thank you.
Your presence, whether brief or lasting, has left an imprint of learning.
With folded hands and a full heart, I bow.

Gratitude is my prayer today.

🌸 Grateful for a Wonderful Day at the Nepali Mela Scotland 2025! 🇳🇵🏴✨

I feel truly blessed to have participated in the Nepali Mela Scotland 2025, held in Edinburgh on the 23rd June 2025. It was an incredible day celebrating vibrant Nepali culture, traditions, music, and unity.

This year was extra special as I had the honor of attending the event with our esteemed Yoga teacher Sadhvi Devaditi ji, from Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar, whose presence and blessings inspired everyone.

🌼 Highlights from the day:
✔️ A colorful traditional procession and community gathering
✔️ Warm interactions with dignitaries, respected guests, and community leaders
✔️ Soulful cultural performances — dances, songs, and bhajans
✔️ Heartfelt messages and speeches that strengthened our bond as a community

We sincerely thank all the organizers, volunteers, performers, and attendees for making this Mela a huge success and for giving us cherished memories to take back.

Looking forward to 2026 🙏

Scotland.

At times, mere survival can be a triumph. If you're running a business today, you’ll know how much effort it takes just to stand still. I was honoured to be featured alongside 24 remarkable women, discussing what success in 2025 truly means.

It's heartening to read about other women in my position, running successful businesses while endeavouring to clear a path for greater diversity to follow in our footsteps.

If you're curious to learn more about what success in female entrepreneurship looks like, you can read the article here:

The Business pays tribute to 25 entrepreneurial women in Scotland succeeding in 2025 in our annual listing.

🌿🧘‍♀️ Honoured to Join the 11th International Day of Yoga Celebrations! 🧘‍♂️🌿

We were delighted to be guests at the celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga at the Mother Earth Temple in Newton Mearns.

It was a day filled with positive energy, harmony, and the true spirit of yoga. We were especially pleased to bring our renowned yoga teacher from Patanjali Yog, Sadhvi Devaditi, who held a short yet refreshing yoga session as part of the day’s vibrant programme.

We felt truly privileged to be alongside Brahma Kumaris, whose uplifting presence and deeply peaceful meditation session brought everyone to experience calm, clarity, and spiritual strength.

The day was filled with many other inspiring activities and contributions from wonderful participants, all coming together to celebrate yoga, meditation, and community spirit.

Our heartfelt thanks to the organisers for hosting such a meaningful event and to everyone who took part and made it so special. May we continue to carry the timeless benefits of yoga and meditation into our daily lives.

✨ A wonderful evening with ROYALS! 🇮🇳✨

Tonight was truly special with the Rajasthani Organisation for Youth Arts and Legacy in Scotland (ROYALS). An unforgettable celebration of our vibrant heritage — filled with traditional Rajasthani dance, soulful music, and breathtaking performances by everyone involved.

The energy, colours, and delicious food made it an evening to remember. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to be a guest at such a beautiful gathering.

It is with a profoundly heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by today’s tragedy in Ahmedabad.

To the brave first responders, airline and airport staff, and medical teams on the ground: thank you for your courage and swift action under unimaginably difficult circumstances.

My thoughts and prayers are with every family waiting for word of their loved ones. I send you strength, solace, and support in this time of immense sorrow.

Interested in hosting a yoga event this June?

I’ve just finished a call with the Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust team for an update on our International Day of Yoga activities across the UK, and it’s inspiring to see over 1,000 tickets already claimed and a growing programme of community-based sessions, it’s shaping up to be a wonderful celebration of movement, breath, and connection.

This year, we’re offering the opportunity to host free yoga sessions in offices, schools, and community spaces across Glasgow and Edinburgh between 16th and 23rd June. We’ll provide a qualified teacher and equipment, creating a simple, accessible way for people to experience the benefits of yoga together.

If you would like to host a session or learn more, please get in touch with [email protected].

While we all support the ambition for a strong, homegrown workforce, removing the international recruitment pathway without a clear plan risks the resilience of essential services.

In my latest Scotsman article, I reflect on the importance of practical pathways into care roles, meaningful workforce investment, and true partnership working. Without people delivering care, there is no care sector.

You can read my piece here:

This week’s confirmation that the overseas care worker visa route will be closed as part of wider immigration reforms lands as yet another blow for a sector that has long carried more than its fair share of burden.

19 years ago, we established Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust with a simple but powerful mission: to share the benefits of yoga and the Ayurvedic way of life with communities across the UK.

Since then, we’ve proudly trained thousands of teachers and built a growing network of free classes open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.

Today, it brings me immense joy to welcome a brand-new class into our family. Every new class is more than just a session on the mat. It’s a fresh opportunity for connection, community, and wellbeing.

Yoga is not just about movement; it’s about finding calm, building resilience, and fostering connection with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, passionate teachers, and everyone who continues to support this journey. And to those joining us today, welcome!

I hope this class brings you strength, peace, and positivity in the years ahead. 🌿✨
