Proud as punch it's Christmas🎄
Hopefully this one isn't as chaotic as the last (😮).
Earlier this month, I shared a short story about Ramsay's first Christmas with my newsletter subscribers and in the spirit of festivities, here it is. Enjoy!

Big Dog's chaotic Christmas
The tree was up and sparkly decorations were donned,
Dressed with baubles matched perfectly, and a star fit for a wand.
A handful of presents beneath, each wrapped with much care,
Festive-themed paper, complete with ribbon, coiled like curly hair.
Big Dog was puzzled by a fir in the middle of his home,
“What’s this all about?” he pondered, “I’ll investigate when I’m alone.”
Mum and Dad waved him goodbye as they left for their night out,
One with cocktails and nibbles, and a hearty measure of stout.
His nose caught a sweet scent that came from under the tree,
“Something’s in these presents. And I bet there’s something for me.”
Big Dog rummaged and scraped, opening the presents with speed,
Uncovering chocolates he did, and these ones he didn’t need.
He scoffed his way through the treats that smelt like a dream,
Polishing off all the chocolates, flavoured strawberry and cream.
With no stone unturned, the room was wrappers galore,
Leaving nothing behind but a pink sparkly floor.
He’d finished his mission with no present left to be seen,
Mum and dad returned to see their Christmas had become very lean.
“Oh my!” they cried while Big Dog sat proud as punch,
“Thankfully he didn’t find the turkey. We’d have no Christmas lunch!”
