After a week off I am back to working!!!!

What a week it was... as you all know the BCF was cancelled due to the incident that happened, resulting in me coming home on Saturday.

I decided to still take time off and really recharge my physical, mental and emotional batteries.

I have been in the "office" (my bedroom) all day working on edits, answering messages and getting back into the swing of things.

Back out tomorrow night with my SPARKLE package ✨ covering. 50TH birthday party!!!! Can't wait to capture these special moments!

It is with great sadness that my trip to Big Church Festival was cut short following an accident in which a man sadly lost his life. 💔

This has been such a raw and emotional experience for myself, my friends, and everyone who was at the festival. My prayers are with every single person who has been affected — those who were injured, their families and friends, the BCF team, the witnesses, everyone who was there, and, most importantly, the family and loved ones of the man who lost his life.

May he rest in eternity with the Lord our God. 🤍

I will still be taking the rest of my holiday until Thursday. I need some time to rest, spend time with God, and process everything that has happened. 🙏🏽

I bought this jumper at the festival which says, “Is this what heaven sounds like?” And after everything that happened, that question has stayed with me.

Before, during and after the incident, all I saw was people coming together and worshipping Jesus. Lifting their eyes, their hearts and their voices to Him. 🤍

We may never know why this happened, but what we do know is:

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Thank you so much to everyone who has messaged me to check that I’m okay. It genuinely means so much. 🤍

I’ll be back to work on Thursday.

Until then, hold your loved ones a little tighter, tell them you love them, and don’t take a moment together for granted. 🥺🤍
