Over 4,500 years ago, people built one of the world's greatest mysteries.
Some of these stones weigh more than 25 tons.
Even more incredible, some were transported from over 150 miles away—without cranes, trucks, or modern machinery.
Archaeologists believe ancient builders may have used ropes, wooden sledges, rollers, and an enormous amount of teamwork. But exactly how they achieved it remains unknown.
Stonehenge also aligns with the sunrise during the summer solstice, showing that its builders had an impressive understanding of the sky.
