This year marks 15 YEARS of Halloween at Kelburn – and we’re going bigger, darker, and scarier than ever.
We’re looking for actors and scare performers to bring the forest to life… or death.

Multiple roles available – from eerie stalkers to full-throttle chasers
Different pay grades depending on the role
No accommodation – you must arrange your own transport to Kelburn (Largs)
Outdoor, night-time work in all weather
18+ only

We've been busy managing and producing Kelburn Castle & Estate's next event Kelburn School of Sorcery - The Dragon Trials!

It's been a monumental task from building original sets, creating the story and weaving it through child friendly games and puzzles and ultimately bring together all the elements that make for a great kids event!

The event is running until the 10th of August and we would love if you'd join us for some fun interactive theatre and immersive experiences!

We're really proud of what we've created this year and want to say a massive thank you to Ryan Kane, our day one dude who's been with us since we began making films for the 48hr and in every one of our submissions since. We are casting for various roles for Kelburn Castle & Estate's event - Kelburn School of Sorcery - Dragon Trials

- This is a paid production and the dates are inclusive of the 1st until the 10th of August 2025, with a rehearsal day on the 31st of July.

- This production will involve interacting with children, previous experience is desired.

- Previous acting experience is required.

- Applicants must be available for all of these dates and also be able to make their way to and from Kelburn Castle and Estate.

- All applicants must hold a valid disclosure check.

We went back to our roots as filmmakers and VFX artists for this years Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project Scotland combining our skills to create 'Fractured'.

We kept the team small and really focused on pushing ourselves creatively, We wanted to try something that we don't think has been done in a 48 before and can't wait to share this one with you all!

Our Screening is Thursday 5th June at 8:30pm at the Cameo Cinema Edinburgh
