[invite] My first time trying Persian cuisine and I think the bar is set pretty high after visiting last week - their menu is known for their Indian dishes BUT the Persian section is not to be missed!

My personal favourites were the

🥙 Smoked aubergine dip - silky and savoury!
🍗 Chicken kebab over caramelised hot plate onion - the char of the grill makes this really special!
🧄 Garlic yoghurt dip - funnily enough really made me think of growing up in Czech republic where we love our heavily garlic’d creamy dips and spreads!

The atmosphere was lovely and the service so kind - but Koolba is also available to order as a treat to have at home 🚗

Nostalgic for Prague in Autumn - I call myself, well aware I’m gonna be there in just over two weeks 🇨🇿

My doctor was just making some small talk with me today, attempting to ease my anxiety, and the good old theme of travel plans came up, making me realise Prague is a gem to visit any time of year - please never hesitate to squeeze out Prague travel tips out of me!!

I did things this September and sometimes even remembered to take pictures of said things!!

Hope you also got to sample autumnal baked goods and maybe pretend you’re a teal hair sorcerer or maybe you also finally made your hairdresser give you a fringe and you have sworn to them you would style it and then gave up three days in! Other experiences also allowed 👀

First day of Autumn and my phone has reminded me of the stunning scenes that was Isle of Skye in September two years ago when we took an electric van from the lovely EV Camper Hire | Scotland on a round trip around the island and were blessed by the most unexpectedly perfect weather.

Until then I was always a bit sceptical about people’s love for the place, but OH BOY Skye truly is like the Hallmark movie of Scotland, its postcardy, romantic, rough and especially kind to early risers like me because those sunrises, let me tell you…. Multiple chefs’ kisses.

Summer’s over and my body’s daily need of gloop is running HIGH!! My own porridge errs on the side of asceticism and the fluffy sock weather calls for a huge chunk of chocolate melting alongside some caramelised banana atop a tasty bowl of oats 😭😭😭 save me Edinburgh coffee shops!!

Lille + Brussels 🎥 long weekend vlog now on my channel in case you missed it - featuring a LOT of frustratingly pretty buildings and sweet treats with hundreds of years of history! 🇫🇷🇧🇪

This was my first time visiting both and it wasn’t actually even our original intention to go - turns out there’s plenty of cheapo flights heading to Brussels Charleroi airport, and from there it’s so affordable to grab a FlixBus to other spots in the area!

I have fallen in love with Lille big time and after only having two and a half days there this summer I already know I’ll be coming back 🔥 Simon needs to experience this spot too, and help me eat my way through more pastries 👀
