Following an overwhelming response to its premiere, Rollers Forever, the heartfelt, tartan-clad musical celebrating the legendary Bay City Rollers, is returning by massive popular demand next year with an expanded Scottish tour across Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh in October 2026.
The feel-good new musical will begin its return run at the Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow (Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 October 2026) for six performances including Thursday and Saturday matinees. It then moves to His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen (Wednesday 21 to Saturday 24 October 2026) for another six shows, before concluding with seven performances at the King's Theatre, Edinburgh (Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October 2026), including Wednesday and Saturday matinees.
Written by award-winning playwright Danny McCahon and directed by celebrated theatre-maker Liz Carruthers, Rollers Forever brings together humour, nostalgia and heartfelt affection for the devoted fandom that made the Bay City Rollers a global phenomenon. Inspired by the fans who lived through the excitement of the era, the story follows two lifelong friends as they reconnect on a Saturday night and relive the thrill, friendships and unforgettable moments of their teenage Roller-mania.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am. This will be the show’s Edinburgh and Aberdeen debut also.
