CamGlen Radio Community Radio for Cambuslang & Rutherglen. Part of Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust CamGlen Radio is made by our community, for our community.

We aim to promote health in its wide sense, offer a variety of creative volunteering opportunities, provide employment prospects and promote and encourage training & development in media. The station will also entertain, inform and engage with all sections of our community. CamGlen Radio will try to make Cambuslang and Rutherglen healthier and happier places to live.

🌟 This amazing team at Hays Travel Rutherglen are taking on a fantastic fundraising challenge this October — ‘Travel Desk to 5K’! 🌟

They’ll be swapping their travel desks for a treadmill & walking 5K to raise funds for Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust❤️🚶‍♀️

But that’s not all! They’re also running a raffle with some fab prizes — including vouchers for a local florist, beauty salon, baby shop & Hays Travel. Plus plenty of other delicious goodies😍

Join Shelley at 10am on Shelley’s Community & Wellbeing Show when she will be chatting to Maia from Beat The Street.

Our good friends at Music Broth continue to go from strength to strength and have now moved to new expanded premises at Skypark, Elliot Square, Glasgow, G3 8EP
To celebrate they are hosting a launch event this Saturday 27th September.

The public are warmly invited to a free, day-long celebration of music, creativity, and community, taking place from 1pm – 6pm at the new premises.

The event will feature:

- Live performances showcasing our community members and volunteers.

- Interactive workshops for all ages, including drumming, violin, music production and creative upcycling crafts using reclaimed musical materials.

- Refreshments and networking, with opportunities to meet the Music Broth team, volunteers, and local supporters.

Local representatives, artists, and partner organisations are expected to attend the official opening ceremony, underlining Music Broth’s growing impact as a cultural and social hub.
