Sophie Joint Music asked me to create a music video and shoot some stills for her debut album “Light on Water”, for the track “Apricity”. Sophie’s concept was to take a grand piano and place it on a pier in Granton Beach on the north side of Edinburgh. This presented an obvious challenge however, we were not swayed the task at hand.

Pianist Sophie Joint from Glasgow grew up playing classical, Scottish and Irish traditional music. A graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Sophie performs and teaches within the Scottish trad music scene. Sophie asked me to create a music video and shoot some stills for her debut album
