Wedding planning is exciting, but it's easy to overlook the things that need organising well in advance!

Here are three things worth getting ahead of:

📸 1. Booking your suppliers
Your dream photographer, venue or entertainment might get booked up quickly. Start researching early and secure the suppliers who feel right for you.

✉️ 2. The little details
Stationery, signage and personal touches all take time. Don't leave everything until the final few weeks!

🥂 3. Guest logistics
Accommodation, transport, accessibility and dietary requirements all deserve a little forward planning.

Remember, there's no single right way to plan a wedding. Make a plan that works for you, your priorities and your budget. 🤍

On Friday, we had the pleasure of attending a fantastic suppliers networking evening at WEDDINGS AND EVENTS NORTH HAMPSHIRE — and what an evening it was! 🤍

There’s something so valuable about stepping away from the screen and getting together with the people behind the businesses that make weddings happen.

From meeting new faces and catching up with familiar ones, to sharing ideas, experiences and plenty of wedding chat, it was a wonderful reminder of just how talented and supportive the UK wedding industry is. 🥂

5–10%.

Consider keeping this amount aside as a contingency for those costs you didn't necessarily plan for.

Tegen & Jordan's wedding wasn't about following a perfect formula.

It was rustic, country and relaxed — but most importantly, it was about the people they love.

Having known each other since school and shared years of memories together, their wedding was a celebration of their story, their family and the life they'd built.

Good food.
Happy children.
Family.
Friends.
And plenty of reasons to celebrate.

And perhaps the best piece of advice they could give another couple?

Do what you want rather than what others recommend.

Because your wedding doesn't need to impress everyone.
