its SKI Mask Cowboy.
Ski Mask Cowboy, was born and raised in a Seventh Day Adventist home. At a young aged he attended church every sabbath with his family. In his teens, he quit going to church and focused on have fun with his friends on the weekends. That fun turned to late night parties and rebellion. Throughout the years of having fun he fell in love with music, always wanting a music career he proceeded to teach himself to play guitar and write music. He started doing covers before finding a love for hiphop, and decided to blend his country lifestyle and hiphop together. Fast forward he found himself creating a song "Winter Nights" with the famous Afroman, and began touring across the United States. While touring he was introduced to a Scottish DJ RMN and producer JusJez they released hits like Country Boy Ballin and Cruise to name a few. It wasn't until he had a moment on tour, when almost getting arrested for driving under the influence, he made a promise to God to never drink again. Ski Mask took a break from touring and focused on music with RMN and Jusjez creating the first record to be the breaking point for Gospel "No Gravity."
And he quotes, "It was that song that made me want to completely go gospel, the way it made me feel was something I have never felt before. You know i have kids and i didnt want them to even hear some of my music because of the cussing and drug references, so why would i want God to hear that."
After "No Gravity" he released "Radio" which involved no cussing with support of fellow artist Mike Sons. After the release Ski Mask took a fee months off and focused on his relationship with Christ. He started back studying the Bible and being more involved in attending church. Being born again in the faith of Jesus Christ he put his focus into writing only songs that would please his lord and savior.
He quotes, "I never stopped believing in God, I just stopped following. I actually, at one point in my music career, tried the Christian lane, but it felt corny to me. I went back to the secular music trying to please the world and make money. Now that I think about it, ever since I started doing music I have prayed over it every night, but how can I expect God to bless me when I turned away to please the world and not him."
Gearing up to release his first debut single "He Will Be Back Again" it will be Ski Mask Cowboys first official Gospel record, with more to follow. Ski Mask Cowboy is growing more and more in Faith everyday. He says he doesn't want what the world wants anymore his want the reward in the end and to please God.
