Meet the maker behind Pergola London 🤍

I don’t normally do these kinds of posts. I’ve always preferred to stay quietly in the background, letting my candles and products speak for themselves. But after 10 years of Pergola London, I want to share a little more about the person behind the business and why I love what I do.

I’m originally from South Korea, but London has been my home for over 20 years. My background is in textiles and fine art, which naturally led me into the fashion industry, working in both South Korea and UK.

Ten years ago, Pergola London grew from my love of nature, simple design and the importance of using high-quality ingredients in handmade products. What started as a small passion has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.

One of the most special parts of this journey has been the people I’ve met along the way — especially my incredibly loyal customers. Your support, kind messages, repeat orders and recommendations have meant more to me than I can put into words. You’ve allowed me to keep creating, learning and doing what I love for the past decade. 🤍

Last year, I was also incredibly honoured to be shortlisted as a small business in the Royal Borough of Greenwich Business Awards. It was a very special moment and a reminder of how far Pergola London has come.

For me, it has always been about creating products with care, using quality ingredients and staying true to what I believe in.

And ultimately, there’s one simple thing that tells me I’m on the right path:

If my customers are happy, I know I’m doing something right. 🌿
