5 simple tweaks that will increase those views and how many 👀 see your Reels.

1. Hook me in to watch in the first 2 seconds. Bold statements like ‘____was the worst idea’ or ‘I really shouldn’t be telling you this’ work well.

THINK - If the first line wouldn’t stop you scrolling then it needs a tweak.

2. I need to see text - most of us watch / scroll with sound off so need clear punchy text to work out if we are going to hang around.

We are also watching on screens far too small for our eyes! Keep text big enough to read squint free.

3. Keep things moving - nothing fancy just enough clip / speed / zoom changes to keep me interested and intrigued.

4. Short for the win - think one clear message versus sharing all the things. If it feels too short then it’s bob on.

5. What do I do next? Shall I save, share or get in touch? Friendly, natural nudges are perfect for this - just as you would if you were having a chat.

Hi 👋 have we met?

I’m an Instagram expert and lover of simple, effective content creation that everyone can do (honestly…)

I have had the joy of supporting hundreds of amazing Business Owners since I launched Studio 5 five years ago – my approach is to keep things simple, effective, real and most of all FUN (otherwise it all quickly becomes a bit meh).

Big fan of the outdoors, meeting and hanging out with people (my social battery always wants more), setting myself challenges that usually involve mountains or running trainers and generally trying to keep my mind and body in a positive state through some form of movement.

Mum to 3 teens and a dog who all keep me guessing and busy in their individual ways which is the main reason I only have time for speedy content – practicing what I preach wherever possible…

No big NYE goals or manifestations here – I would LOVE to pick up where 2025 left off with the opportunity to support business owners through sharing tips here and my monthly newsletter, at one of my Insta training workshops, or having the opportunity to work together 1:1

I had lots of fun ideas for my Merry Christmas post but being completely honest I’ve run out of festive steam 🤪

So a quick Santa hat pic whilst waiting for a birthday cake to cook will have to do…

Whatever shape Christmas come in for you, I hope it’s filled with all your favourites - food, people, animals, TV and doing all things that bring you joy.

Thank you so much for all of your support this year and to everyone I’ve worked with, it’s been such a joy. More of the same for 2026 please - I can’t wait to work with more fabulous people.
