Be honest… have we all fallen into the trap a little bit? 👀

Booking a “professional” brand shoot and instantly reaching for a blazer? 🫣
Posing behind a laptop screen?
Or folding our arms because somewhere we were told that’s what successful looks like?

I’m genuinely curious - when did we decide that looking the same = being taken seriously? 😵‍💫

When did we start proving our worth instead of expressing it? 😵‍💫

Because lately I’ve realised the “CEO stance” has become the uniform of professionalism… and I don’t think it belongs to us. Us being women.. sorry I said it 👩🏼‍💼👽🪩

BUT, we don’t need to pose like power, we are power.

Authenticity, joy, nuance, chaos - that’s what makes our brands magnetic. Not standing like a typical bloke whose so far up the pyramid he can’t even see the bottom anymore 🫣

What they’ve built goes beyond laptops and lattes; it’s a community that’s eased loneliness, lifted mental health and reminded so many of us that we’re not doing this ‘working from home’ or ‘self employed’ thing alone.

I’m really about to spill allllll the tea on something I’ve been quietly researching over the last 6 months…

Drumroll please 🥁

Women don’t buy like men.

We buy with around 70% emotion and 30% logic.. we feel first, then we use the logic to justify it 😉

But most (if not all) marketing strategies are built for the 30%.. for the men.

So if you’ve been doing ‘all the right things’ and it still feels *off* or your sales aren’t flowing like you know they should.. that’s probably because you’ve been marketing like a man to women who buy like women 🫠 it’s an easy mistake to make in a world where marketing is predominantly outlined by men.

But I’m changing the game.

I’ve built a completely new, research-backed framework around this

& it’s changed how I market to my clients (and my client’s client) but most importantly it’s changed how our clients connect with our brands 👀🤌🏼
