There are A LOT of shoulds floating around when it comes to social media….

“You need to post every day.”
“You have to show your face constantly.”
“You must be doing trending content or what’s the point?”

And honestly? It can make showing up feel more overwhelming than empowering.

But here’s the thing I remind my clients all the time - it doesn’t have to be that way.

✨ You don’t need to be an expert to show up well
✨ You can keep it simple and still be effective
✨ You’re allowed to take breaks and move at your own pace

These are just a few of the things I wish more small business owners knew about social media…

Because when you stop trying to do it all and start focusing on what feels right for you - that’s when it starts to work with you, not against you🫶🏻

I always start with what’s already there - your website, your logo, the energy behind your brand and build a palette that elevates it. Something that feels aligned, clear and consistent across every post🫶🏻

Spoiler: that’s not the vibe….

The truth is, social media management, especially for small businesses, is about so much more than posting for the sake of it.

But the truth? There’s way more going on behind the scenes.

✨ It’s understanding your voice and your audience and helping you show up with clarity and confidence.

If you’ve ever felt disheartened by the numbers on your content… this one’s for you 👇🏻

Over the last 3 months, my own social media insights have looked… pretty steady.

No major jumps. No viral moments. Just showing up, creating consistently, and doing my thing.

But here’s what isn’t shown in the stats:

✨ I’ve doubled the number of clients I’m working with
✨ I’m having more conversations in my DMs
✨ My business has more momentum than ever

The truth is, social media metrics are vanity metrics for a reason…they don’t tell the full story. And they certainly don’t determine your success.

Growth doesn’t have to be explosive to be effective.

It doesn’t have to go viral to work.

And you don’t need to be trending to be building something meaningful🫶🏻

📌If you’re showing up online and it doesn’t feel like much is changing - look again.
